Roasted chicken

This is a basic skill that is not to be overlooked in the kitchens of Panem. While meat is hard to come by, this recipe will make the most of it when it is available: roast meat can be eaten as-is or used in other dishes. This method of preparation is remarkably simple, and requires very little hands-on time – perfect for when you come home after a long day in the mines.

    The Ingredients.
    The Method.
    1. Preheat oven to 425.
    2. Rinse the groosling and pat it dry. Rub salt into the skin on all sides, then place breast up in a roasting pan.

    3. Roast for 1 hour to 1 & 1/2 hours, to an internal temperature of 175 degrees, or until the juices from the thigh run clear when pierced.

      The Groosling was really nice :) great example of simple is better… I am working on a tessera bread recipe, I will send it to you when I finally get it right :)
